The official crossing time is about 90 minutes from Barrack Street Jetty in Perth, around 25 minutes from Fremantle and about 45 minutes from Hillarys. Check the actual departure point before booking.
Yes. Nambung National Park is roughly two hours north of Perth by road. Most tours combine the Pinnacles with Lancelin, Yanchep, sandboarding or stargazing, so the complete day is considerably longer.
No. It is a long road journey south and a day tour is demanding. A two-day tour is more honest if wineries, coast and caves all matter to you.
No. Perth has Indian Ocean beaches, the Swan River and offshore Rottnest Island. Ningaloo Reef and Coral Bay are far to the north and are not Perth day trips.
Not for central Perth, Fremantle or a ferry package. A car is useful for beaches and the wider region, but organised day tours cover the Pinnacles, Swan Valley and many wildlife experiences.
Cottesloe, Scarborough and City Beach are metropolitan beaches. Rottnest beaches require a ferry; Penguin Island and Rockingham lie south of the city.
